Tupperware AKO (Atmosphere Controlled Environment) system creates the optimal environment to keep fruits and vegetables fresh for longer. Greenhouse Series Containers feature a special three-way ventilation system that helps regulate the atmosphere inside the container by balancing the flow of oxygen in and carbon dioxide out. The slider mechanism on the lid can be used in 3 different positions: 1- Half Open: When the slider mechanism is aligned with the semicircle in the pictogram, the small opening in the seal opens for light ventilation. 2- Closed: When the slider mechanism is aligned with the fully engraved circle in the center of the pictogram, both openings in the seal are closed. 3- Fully Open: When the slider mechanism is aligned with the hollow, shiny circle on the pictogram, the large opening in the seal opens for full ventilation. The lid is easy to open thanks to the tab in the corner. A built-in grill underneath the base keeps contents away from moisture and allows air to circulate around the food. When not in use, they can be nested for compact storage, even between different sizes.
